Portishead- Glory Box

Certain songs have been adopted by Hollywood & recycled in countless movies/TV shows as a shortcut to conveying certain moods.

For example, if Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah cover starts playing, you’re about to see an emo montage of attractively melancholy people staring off into the distance. Portishead’s Glory Box means that someone is about to have an unrealistically satisfying & flatteringly-lit coming of age sexual experience.
